Houston Visit #2 – Confined Space Innovation in Action
Our team returned to Houston, Texas, for a second deployment, delivering a critical inspection within confined spaces to assess refractory linings. These environments present unique safety and access challenges, where AISUS’ specialised remote inspection tools make the ideal solution.
This latest mobilisation marked the first field trial of our amended centraliser and stereoscopic camera, developed by our in-house R&D team. The stereoscopic camera allows for enhanced depth perception in restricted environments, improving data clarity and reducing inspection times.

Renewable Inspection at Global Offshore Wind
Business Executive Brea represented AISUS at the Global Offshore Wind Conference in London, hosted by Renewables UK. As the energy transition accelerates, we’re proud to demonstrate how our inspection tools – originally designed for oil and gas – are seamlessly transferable to offshore wind farms and other renewable infrastructure.
Our presence at the event highlighted how our advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), confined space crawlers and data management platform can enhance the safety, efficiency, and longevity of renewable assets.

While the skies may not always be sunny in Aberdeen, it was a picture-perfect day when we captured our inspection equipment being prepared for international shipping. From the UK to the Middle East, and across the America, our inspection solutions are making an impact in energy hubs around the world.
🔷Cavitas Update
THOR Heats Up in Houston
The Cavitas team travelled to Houston to meet with potential clients and demo THOR – our game-changing wellbore heating technology. THOR uses electrical heat to mobilise heavy oil right at the source, making recovery more efficient while eliminating the need for steam or chemical injection.
In the demo, THOR reached such high temperatures it was able to flash-boil water in open air – a powerful example of its performance. With multiple units now in testing and preparing for deployment, stay tuned for exciting updates to come.

Welcoming a Nigerian Client to Cavitas HQ
Interest in THOR is gaining traction globally. This month, we welcomed a client from Nigeria to our UK warehouse, offering a up-close look at the technology and how it can be applied to enhance oil production in Nigerian fields.
Our team demonstrated how THOR could be deployed to address key challenges in their wells, including low recovery rates and high operating costs. The visit highlighted Cavitas’ continued growth in international markets and the appetite for more sustainable, high-performance oil recovery methods.
