Remote inspection specialists, AISUS Offshore, has realised growth with multiple new appointments including the recent hire of a Managing Director.
Providing remote Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and visual inspection solutions to the Oil and Gas and Renewable Industries, AISUS has confirmed that in-line with considerable growth plans for 2021 it has appointed additional commercial and technical professionals and has secured Jan Stander as Managing Director to support the strategic plans of the business.
Mr Stander, who boasts a wealth of Oil and Gas experience within the integrity and inspection arena, joins AISUS to deliver the new strategic direction of the company.
Jan offers many years’ of Oil and Gas business development and business strategy development experience supporting one of the previous employers to double its turnover in four years. Jan also recently graduated with a degree in Business Management from Robert Gordons University.
Looking to achieve growth through increased turnover and international client wins, Jan commented “This exciting opportunity came as one which offered personal development and the chance to be part of an already successful story. The overall solution offered by AISUS is exceptionally strong in the UKCS, and I hope to bolster this by supporting clients on a wider international remit”.
Continuing with an on-going contract for a major operator in Australia, AISUS is also eyeing international growth in US and Middle East markets. To date, the company has achieved exceptional growth within the UKCS, however, feels there are considerable opportunities to support new customers within the international locations where previous projects have been completed.
The in-house design team at AISUS has continued to upgrade and enhance existing technology whilst developing entirely new tools that can solve key industry challenges. This has resulted in the completion of an advanced inspection technology that is specific to the drilling sector of the Oil Industry. This technology is currently undergoing trials and will be released to the market in the coming months.
